3.5" INCH INTAKE
Designed from the ground up this is the best intake you'll have on the 1.6T Gamma!
Air enters our intake via the best flowing air filter of any of the competitors’ intakes! With our even larger filter option that advantage just becomes even larger!
From the filter the air exits the 6" opening into a velocity stack that transitions into a coupler which then transitions to the 3.5" intake tubing! On the other end of the tubing the air then transitions down to 2.75" tubing that's near port matched to the oem turbo inlet!
This is the intake we used to make 301+ WHP in a 14 manual VT on the oem engine and oem turbo!
The intake is secured to the engine via a very robust support brace. How robust? Well, robust enough that when you rotate the filter and coupler on the intake tube upwards and lock down the T-bolt clamp it can be used as a hood support!
Rotate the filter up you say? Yes! It can be rotated up out of the way to do whatever you need to do in front of the battery under that filter area without removing the entire intake like the other intakes!
The other cool thing about this intake is it will fit every 1.6T Gamma platform that has the hot pipe running under the car. So VT1, VT2, ES, EGT, FSX, FGT, etc. can all run the same intake! Which means if going between these platforms it can be swapped over or when selling the intake, you have a larger market to sell to and not have to sit on it long!
